    Event Description:

Enjoy an evening of sampling, sipping, and mingling!  Every April, Citizens Bank & Trust hosts the Luau, held "on the deck" at Citizens Bank & Trust Downtown, to celebrate and thank loyal investors.  This year, the Lakeland Chamber and Citizens Bank & Trust celebrate our 19th year!  A party atmosphere, with food samples, live music, photo booth by Well Done Events, and complimentary beverages.

The highlight of this event is the crowning of the King of the Wings in two categories, Judges' Choice, and Peoples' Choice. Winners display trophies at their location for one year, until the next Luau event.  The Judges' Choice is determined by seven judges that will vote on three categories:  appearance, flavor, and tenderness.  The restaurant with the highest score in all categories, will be crowned the 2018 King of the Wings - Judges' Choice.  Additionally, the 2018 King of the Wings - Peoples' Choice is determined by popular vote - with each guest able to cast his/her vote.

    Project Prom

Unfortunately for some teens the expense of Prom could make attending prom out of reach.  Student leaders from the UthMpact Coalition began Project Prom in 2013 to provide formal wear and accessories to high school students who make a pledge to choose wisely and commit to refrain from alcohol, drugs, and risky behaviors.  UthMpact's goal is to promote a fun and safe prom night. UthMpact Facts (social norms) are distributed at all Project Prom events. From its inception in 2013, Project Prom has grown to encompass multiple shopping days, and a gala and fashion show.
    How You Can Help?
We are asking for assistance from our local community to make this project a success.  Please support our students by donating your gently-used men’s suits and women’s formal wear to Project Prom. Donations may be dropped off at the InnerAct Alliance office, located at 621 South Florida Avenue, in Lakeland.
Thank you in advance for your support. Please call us at (863) 802-0777 if you have questions or require additional information.

    All donations are tax deductible.
