The main goal with the professional development committee is to get back to one of our original purposes of helping develop the young talent here in Lakeland. Not only do we have a large amount of young professionals, but with the higher education institutions here, we want to do our part in retaining them to continue to grow our community. EMERGE members will get information and opportunities to grow as a professional in the business world for real life application. Like with all of our committees, this is a way to get more involved and help to grow our group. We are always looking for new ideas and people.
