Volunteers Needed! Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay currently have 80 children on the wait list to be matched with a “Big.” A person can be a Big at a local school during a child’s lunch time or they can spend time in the community doing fun activities on the weekends.

Why should members attend this event? Being a Big often means including your Little in things you already like to do — going to a game, taking a bike ride, or heading to the beach.  Just by being a trusted friend, you can change the life of a child facing adversity for the better, forever. If you are not available on the weekends, you can volunteer to be a “Big” at a local school where you can meet with your “Little” during the child’s lunch time.

EMERGE members be sure to let up know if you become a Big!  We want to connect with you!

The first step is to attend a Big Orientation & Training session
